Mouth of Babes!

Out of the mouth of babes…
You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies,
That You may silence the enemy… (Psalm 8:2, NKJV).

A third-grade teacher in a Christian school, from Indiana, wrote a letter telling me what happened.  One of her students “started asking for prayer for Israel.”  She explained to the class “about the war, the rockets, the bomb shelters and the fear the children must experience.” She continued, “We did not go one day without one of my students remembering to ask for prayer for Israel.” She then wrote, “They decided that they wanted to let the children know that they are praying for Israel!”

Below are their words, misspellings, punctuations, or lack thereof, capital or lowercase letters as they wrote to Israel and to ITM. If they signed their name, I used only the first letter to protect their identity:  

  • We pray for you. 3rd grade prays everyday for Isreal. We pray for protection, and peace will come for Isreal and you.  I can’t think how it is for you. I know God will help you go throw this.
  • We, are, praying for, you. this is 3rd grade and we are praying for you.  we pray protection over you. Remember god is with you. – A
  • I pray for you. I pray that Isreal is safe. My whole class is praying for you. – C
  • we love you we have been praying for you. I no youre afraid but God is with you. we are praying for you, – H
  • Praying for you. We are all praying for you all 2024 -2025.  Were in third grade and every time we pray we pray for God to put his hands on you. That God protects you form the war and that there is peace in your country.  Prayers. – J
  • We pray for Isral! Dear Isral my name is Z. I love playing soccer. I am real sad for you but remder God is always with you. The Lord is always watching. The Holy Sprit is living in your hart. This is the love of Jesus.
  • Praying for you. We been praying for you all year every day. I am in 3rd grade.  For what you are going through we pray every day. Prayer of F
  • We are praying for you! We want peace.  1 no killing c in both countries  2 no war 3 no hate  We are praying. We 3th graders would like to pray for you.  But we always pray for you! – A
  • We are praying for you. 3rd grade has been praying for you all year. I can’t amagine how hard it is for you. We are so sory that you have to go thought this – C
  • Praying for you. We are all praying for you. I am in 3rd grade. I am sorry for what you are going through. We pray for you every day. – R

May Adonai bless each one of these precious children for praying for Israel.  And may this amazing teacher, who encourages prayer for Israel, be blessed beyond measure!
